Return Policy


Ready-to-Wear Full Price Merchandise:

  • The full amount will be credited to the original tender (credit card, gift card, or online gift certificate) if returned within 30 days of the ship date on your invoice and accompanied by the original invoice.
  • No refunds will be given after 30 days of the ship date on your invoice.
  • Items must be like-new. Kathy Wilson reserves the right to determine if the item is in returnable condition.


Sale-Price Merchandise:

  • The full purchase amount will be credited to the original tender (credit card, gift card, or online gift certificate) if returned within 15 days of the ship date on your invoice and accompanied by the original invoice.
  • After 15 days, sale product is not eligible for return or credit.

Items must be in like-new condition and unworn to be accepted as a return.
Custom Orders or Personalized Items (e.g., Create Your Own, Make Your Own) cannot be returned or exchanged.

Due to the nature of the custom and personalized orders, every reasonable effort to ensure the item fits the client will be made. This will include tailoring by the client's local tailor with a reimbursement for tailoring fees for the Kathy Wilson item in question, only. For reimbursement of tailoring fees, a receipt with only the Kathy Wilson item in question, can be on the receipt to clearly show the correct reimbursement amount. Only in very special situations to be determined by Kathy Wilson, will a full refund be given for Custom Orders or Personalized Items (e.g., Create Your Own, Make Your Own) creations.

1. Making a Return by Mail
Returns and exchanges must be made within the guidelines in our Return Policy. All returns will be credited to the original form of payment unless otherwise specified on the return/exchange form. Your credit card account will be credited upon processing of the returned item(s), and the credit should appear on your next statement. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing.

The client is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling for the return of any item.

Original shipping charges are not refundable. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing.

Please allow up to 30 business days for us to receive and process your return or exchange.

Custom Orders or Personalized Items (e.g., Create Your Own, Make Your Own) cannot be returned or exchanged.

2. Returning a Gift
Gift recipients who return an item and do not want an exchange will be issued a kathywilson.com online gift certificate. You will receive an e-mail notification upon receipt of your gift return provided that your e-mail address is included on your return/exchange form.

Please allow up to 30 business days for us to receive and process your return or exchange.

Personalized Items (e.g., Create Your Own, Make Your Own) cannot be returned or exchanged.

3. Making an Exchange
Exchange requests must be made within 30 days of order receipt for merchandise purchased at full retail price. Exchange requests must be made within 15 days of order receipt for merchandise purchased at sale price.

Specify the exchange item and the new color or size on the return/exchange form. Include a written request of the item(s) you would like to exchange, which must be the same price or below, unless the customer pays the difference for the new higher priced exchange item.

If you're exchanging an item because of a mistake on the part of kathywilson.com or because of quality issues, we will pay the shipping cost to send a replacement item to you. The replacement order will be sent via Standard Ground Delivery.

Returned items for exchange will be credited to the original form of payment and a new order will be placed for replacement item(s). Availability of replacement item is not guaranteed. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of exchange processing.

Personalized Items (e.g., Create Your Own, Make Your Own) cannot be returned or exchanged.
